Your certified mountain-leader guide (AMM) shares their knowledge of the winter wildlife and flora and watches over the group — a genuinely fun and sociable moment, a world away from the office.

For a treat, a tasting break of local produce (charcuterie, cheese, drinks with and without alcohol) is included for everyone during the walk. And as an option, there’s a génépi-making workshop — a chance to learn more about this iconic little plant that grows at altitude in the Alps, and to leave with your own preparation!

How does the snowshoe hike work?

1. Welcome & equipment
Adjusting the snowshoes and poles, instructions and briefing with your AMM guide.
2. On the way through the snow
A collective activity and effort through the snowy landscapes, at the group’s pace.
3. Discovery & gourmet break
The guide shares their knowledge of the winter wildlife and flora, with a tasting break of local produce (charcuterie, cheese, drinks with and without alcohol) included for all.
4. Sharing & a shared memory
A sociable moment and a group photo in a pristine setting. Optionally, the génépi-making workshop rounds off the outing with a lovely shared keepsake to take home.
